Capture their life story in their words
Meet Kimberly
Born in Houston, but raised in the rocky mountains of Salt Lake City, Kimberly Houk graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and International Politics. Working as a television news personality, she learned quickly she had a passion and talent for telling people’s stories in memorable ways. Houk believes there is something interesting to discover about everyone, and all should record their life stories
Family Storyteller documented the 92nd birthday of my grandmother, Clea Moss. Kimberly Houk was incredibly thorough as she interviewed many of our family members and captured a lifetime of significant memories and lessons learned. The interview process was effortless and resulted in so many heartfelt clips. Kimberly truly captured the spirit of Grandma Moss as well as her legacy.
Everyone was so pleased with the finished product; our video will be a treasure for Grandma's posterity now, and for many generations to come. Thank you so much for your wonderful services.
Kimberly Houk put together a beautiful narrative about the work of Mentors International. She captured three compelling stories of clients we serve in Guatemala. Her professional interaction and sensitivity with our clients built trust, enabling each of them to share their journey out of poverty. Kimberly's journalistic approach educationally portrays the impact of how a small loan gives a big lift to impoverished entrepreneurs--helping them to become self-reliant.
The first time I met Kimberly, it was as if i had known her before; she made me feel that relaxed. She came in to create our 50th Wedding Anniversary video, and some of the questions she asked, I hadn't thought of in quite awhile. It was fun remembering. She made it easy for us to speak about tough things in our life such as the death of our young son.
Kimberly is professional. I loved her narrating voice. It was the perfect addition to a family video that is a true treasure.
